Poor little Avery hasn't been feeling well since Wednesday. On Wednesday she had a fever of 101.9, I felt horrible while taking her temperature and seeing the number keep going up and up. Thursday it was 101.2, then Friday 101.3, and this morning 101.4. She got a tooth yesterday so I hoped that she'd start feeling better. No such luck! So this morning we called the pediatrician office and took her in. Besides listening to her lungs, the whole appointment was POINTLESS. They could have just asked me these questions over the phone. Does she have any other symptoms? Has she been drinking well? Have you been giving her any medication? In the end all they said was in these cases her fever will probably break sometime today or tomorrow. Thanks. She took a four hour nap after that and when she woke up her fever was gone. She's still feeling lousy though. All she's wanted to do is cuddle. So right now she's cuddled up to Louis watching Cinderella. It's nice to have a cuddly baby for a change, but it's also meant that we haven't gotten much done. Except play Monopoly Deal during her long nap. (Yes Jon and Alisha we liked it so much we went out and bought it!) Before I show you sad sicky (but still cute cuddly) pictures of Avery here's a picture to remind you of what she usually is like.

Now the sicky ones.

I hope she feels better soon! It's sad when you're kids aren't feeling well.

So sad! :( I hope she is feeling better now! it's hard when little kids are sick because they can't really tell you whats wrong or do anything about it. It makes you wish you could be sick for them.
