Forgotten Camera

So a few weeks back I left my camera at my brother/sister-in-laws house and my sister-in-law Kami got to it!!  Here's what I found when I got it back. . .

Moral of the story. . .never leave your camera unattended.  You gotta love Kami though :) and also Kami, I love your shirt ;)

Big News!

Like I said yesterday today's post is going to be GREAT!  I don't want to disappoint so here is the awesome post.

Do you get it?  No?  Okay I'll just tell you then, I'm pregnant!  I am 7 weeks and my due date for now is October 3rd which is Louis' birthday!

Was anyone expecting it?  We've told our immediate family and almost everyone said they assumed I was!  Annoying.  My mom actually said to me, "last time I saw you I decided you were pregnant."  Uh okay?   At that point the last time I had seen her I didn't even know for sure if I was pregnant.  Motherly intuition I suppose.  I didn't think anyone would expect it because this time we told everyone when I was only 5 weeks.  We did that so I wouldn't be throwing up yet and then have everyone guess because of that.  Which is what happened last time.  We told everyone in Louis' family by having Avery wear a "big sister" shirt.  It took most people a loooong time to see the shirt and I eventually just said "so what do you think of Avery's shirt?"  Then they finally got it!

I've been nauseous for the last week and throwing up the past 3 days. (I'm sure everyone wanted to know that)  I have an awesome list of ways to combat morning sickness and some things on there have helped me keep it somewhat under control.  If anyone has some tips though, I'd greatly appreciate any!  

I'm already getting a little bigger, it's most likely because I've been eating every two hours so I don't get sick and has nothing to do with the baby inside of me.  I haven't gained weight though so maybe not.

 I'm almost 4 weeks on the left and 7 weeks on the right.  You can see a little difference right?  I cropped my head out on the second picture because I have seriously been in my pajamas since Sunday and haven't really gotten ready at all.  No one wants to see that.  My first appointment is March 14th, I'll be 11 weeks.  It kind of bugs me that my OBGYN doesn't see you earlier.  I want to see my baby!  A month seems like an eternity away!  Hopefully this time will fly by.

Louis and I are sooooo excited for this new little baby to join our family and feel so blessed!  I think Avery will be excited too, she loves babies.  Hopefully this post was great enough for you!

*Obviously the first picture was changed a little bit. . .We couldn't find a "Bump Ahead" sign anywhere!!  Finally with a little help (thanks) we found a "Bump" sign so it was good enough.  Here is the picture before I did anything to it and a few other ones we took.

Valentine's Day

The big day of LOVE has come!  We didn't really get to do anything today to celebrate, besides exchanging presents, because of school and work.  It was still nice though and we'll hopefully do something this weekend.  I had given Louis his 14th day present and when I asked if he wanted his other present he said, "You already gave me my present."  He was really confused and thought that was all he was getting.  I'm glad he appreciated it that much!  I got Louis a tie rack for his present.  He asked me for one a while ago.  I know they have fancy pancy electric ones, but all the reviews I read were all pretty bad, saying they're really loud and the batteries run out quickly and they break pretty quickly.  So I got him some plastic ones that will work just as well!  I made some paper ties to hang on it and wrote a reason why I love him on each of the ties.  I also got him a bunch of candy (that's what's in the Victoria Secret bag) and made him a Valentine's card!

Louis got me a necklace and 3 chocolate oranges!  The chocolate oranges were exciting, they should totally be in stores all year round. (as well as Cadburry eggs!) I don't know if he found them online somewhere or bought them around Christmas and saved them for me.  Here is a picture of me wearing my new necklace.

14 Days of Valentine's-Day 11,12,13, and 14!

So I left my camera at my sister-in-laws house this weekend and I didn't get pictures of any of days 11,12, and 13!  I didn't go to get my camera until today because I've been sick and in my pajamas for the past two days.  I'll just have to tell you guys what I did with no pictures :(
Day 11:  I got Louis Pop Rocks and on it I put "You ROCK!"  I actually still had my camera at this point, but Louis ate them so fast that I did get a picture.  Louis' mom asked us if we kissed with them so if any of you are wondering too, no we did not. . .we have before though.
Day 12:  I got Louis some apple juice and wrote, "You are the apple of my eye!"  We never have apple juice in our house so I didn't really know if he really likes it or not.  He does though, it's already almost all gone.
Day 13:  I got him cheese crackers.  I wrote on them "I know it's 'cheesy' but I love being your Valentine"  I actually forgot to put them out this morning so when Louis got home from school he said, "Don't I get a present?" Haha I'm glad to know that he's liking this.
Day 14:  I haven't given this to Louis yet, but he never looks at our blog so it doesn't matter if I put it up early.    For the last gift (I got him an actual gift as well, but we'll go over the actual Valentine's day later this week) I gave him some Charleston Chew's and on them I wrote. . .

Day 10

Today's gift was my favorite so far!  It was really fun to make and turned out really cute.

Day 9

14 Days of Valentine's-Day 8

Louis said that today's gift has been his favorite so far.  I got him Tootsie Rolls and here's what I wrote on it:

"Happy Valentine's Toots!" Haha I think it's really funny.  I'm glad Louis is liking it.  And because I think we need it, here's a cute picture of Avery wearing her dad's hat.  This girl is too cute and fun.

14 Days of Valentine's-Day 7

I couldn't find the Mento's that she used, so I used gum. (I can't remember what kind) 

14 Days of Valentine's-Days 4,5, and 6

I'm combining days today.  We were down in Ogden over the weekend and I didn't take the time to put them up here.
Day 4:  I bought some bubbles and on the front I put, "You 'blow' me away!"  Then on the inside of the card i wrote a little note telling him why he "blows" me away.

Day 5:  I got a hot wheel and wrote "I 'wheelie' love you!"  I know it's lame!  I do wheelie love him though.

Day 6:  I was in the store last week and saw a chocolate bar wrapped like a one billion dollar bill and decided to add it into this 14 days of Valentine's.

One the back I wrote, "I'd choose you over a billion dollars any day!"  and I would!

I've been having fun with this and Louis has really enjoyed getting something special each morning!  I hope you guys like reading about it and maybe even get inspired to do something extra for your guys!  I know a couple of people already have from me doing this and that makes me so happy!

14 Days of Valentine's-Day 3

Day 3, here we are!!  Today I gave Louis a word search book (also a book of suduko puzzles because he likes them) and on the little card it said. . .

 "You don't have to search anymore!!  I'll be your Valentine"  Then on the inside of the card it said:

FOREVER!  Because I will be!  I love him!  It's good to be mushy sometimes.

Hahaha I know it's so silly isn't it!  "Thumb" body loves you!  Louis said he thought it was cute and I had fun making it.  Also in case you're wondering, I'm the "thumb"body that loves him!  I sure do!

14 Days of Valentine's-Day 1

So I had this idea a while back to do a 14 days of Valentine's for Louis.  Just little things to give him everyday the first 14 days of February.  Today was day one!  It was pretty exciting and made me giddy hehe I know that's silly, but I was.  Here's what I did for day one:

I made him this fishy and on the back of the fishy it said . . .

If you can't read it, but you hopefully can, it says "Welcome to day 1 of your 14 days of Valentine's!  I guess we should start out with asking if you will o-"FISH"-ally be my Valentine?" (Get it?) Then it says check yes or no.  Of course I gave him some goldfish crackers with this.

And just in case you're wondering, Louis checked yes!
