Avery totally knows what a camera is now,  it's awesome.  I thought I'd share some of the cute pictures of her smiling for the camera I've gotten of her in the last week.

So explanation of this last picture.  She hasn't been letting me feed her a bottle lately.  She likes to do it herself.  So I'll just sit her in her bouncy chair and let her eat.  After she was done she wanted to get out so she flipped the seat over and started crawling away still buckled into the seat!  It was so funny!  When I took this picture she stopped crawling for me so I could get a good one.

And this isn't a smiley picture, but it's still blog worthy.  She loves sharing her binkie with everyone she'll take it out of her mouth and put it in yours then take it back and do it all over again.  A few days ago she started trying to share it with the little girl in the mirror.  After quite a few tries I finally got a good picture of it.  (There will be an explanation of what is on the door in the background in my next post!)
P.S. This is my 100th post!  It only took me 2 years geez!

Where Has the Time Gone?

Can you believe my daughter is already 10 months old???  She really isn't doing too many new things, she can say Mama, she will clap when I say "Yay!" (it's awesome), she crawls up the stairs, and cruises along the furniture.  Here are some cute pictures of Avery from this month.

Oh My Goodness

That is what I kept saying over and over again this morning after I got Avery out of her crib.  I noticed her pants were a little wet and I thought, "Oh man she leaked through a little bit."  WRONG!!  She leaked through a lot of bit, and it wasn't just #1 it was. . .okay I'll just say it,

POOP EVERYWHERE! GAAA!!

I took her downstairs and cleaned her up.  I probably should have just put her in the tub, but then I'd have poop all over it and I didn't want that.  There was poop on her legs, on her feet, and on her toes.  It was smeared on her shorts and onesie.  Just a wonderful way to start my day.  I think this is officially her worst blow out ever.

10 Things

I'm feeling the desire to blog, but nothing has been going on in our lives that is too exciting since school started for Louis.  Which I'm actually glad about because this summer was so flippin busy!  So I just decided to write down 10 random facts about myself that maybe you didn't know.

1. I love watching new TV shows!  I get hooked.  I have seen every episode of Friends, How I Met Your Mother, King of Queens, 3rd Rock From the Sun, The Office, Prison Break, Charmed, Ugly Betty, and I've been working on Seinfeld.  This makes me sound so lame.
2. I eat peas with my fingers and it's always driven my dad crazy, but I continue to do it anyway.
3. I was born in England, my dad was in the Air Force and we were living there when I was born.  Yes I still am an American citizen. (people have seriously asked me that)
4. I hate being alone at night, I will freak myself out and get really scared.
5. I love to sing and have been in the ward choir since I was at least 14.
6. I am not good at making new friends.
7. I had a natural child birth, people have asked if I chose to or if it just happened.  I chose to.  Not because I'm crazy and don't think you should use drugs, I think it was just because I thought, "How many millions of women have had children without anything, I can do it too."  And I did, and it was great, and I plan on doing it again.
8. I love going to historical church sites, so far I've been to Martin's Cove, Independence Rock, Nauvoo, Carthage Jail, Liberty Jail, Independence, (including that weirdo sea shell looking place where a creepy guy followed us around while we went on a tour) Palmyra, Hill Cumorah, Adam Ondi Ahman, Kirtland, and I think that's it. . .
9. My favorite dessert to eat is Carrot Cake (Right Megan Passey?)
10. # 9 was a joke

WINNER!!

In case you didn't know Louis and I never win things.  NEVER.  So on Saturday at Louis' work party when they were giving away prizes we were ecstatic to hear his name called!  He won a Kindle and guess what. . .it's amazing.  We already really like it and we've only had it for 3 days.

The rest of the party was fun too, they do it at a park in Logan, it's pretty much the same every year.  They have big blow up toys (obstacle courses, slides, bouncy houses, jousting, etc) This year they had a rock climbing wall and a tiny pathetic zip line.  They have free cotton candy, face painting, snow cones, (free snow cone!  Free snow cone at the end of the game!) and churros.  A few years ago they had people coming in off the street so now they have bracelets for everyone.  Oh and did I mention that dinner is catered by Famous Dave's?  Louis and his brother Josh work at the same place; so Josh and his wife were there with us. That was nice for me to have someone I knew and didn't have to talk to random weird people.  We didn't do too much, but Louis and Josh jousted each other and they raced on the rock climbing wall.

You're supposed to do three rounds, but the 4 foot 12 year old working there kept getting mad at them for not having their helmets on.  So they stopped after two.  I recorded the rock climbing so I'll end with that.  The end of the video is funny when Louis was coming down.
