Louis has had to do a lot of commuting with his new job and he's getting sick of being in the car and didn't want to go anywhere for Thanksgiving. Because of that we decided to stay home for Thanksgiving again this year. This year I wasn't in charge of making everything though, Louis was awake to help me out! Very thankful this year for no longer having to deal with the graveyard shift. Louis did the turkey, he cooked it with the potatoes and carrots so all of that was done together. He also made the gravy. All I did was the rolls and the cream cheese filled brownies for dessert, as well and decorating/setting the table.
It was a nice warm day so earlier in the afternoon we headed to the park to play and have a picnic. We all had a fun time being together and having the park to ourselves for pretty much the whole time. Dinner was wonderful, Louis did a great job with everything and it was nice to be together and talk about what we were all grateful for.
This year we are thankful for Louis' new job, family, food, birthdays, the Gospel, and much more.
