6 Months of Mary

Friday the 22nd was Mary's 6 month birthday!  6 months is a big milestone in my mind.  She is doing great and we just love her so much!  Here are her stats from her appointment on Friday:

Weight:  15 lbs 4.5 oz, 40%

Height:  25 in, 25%

Head:  17 1/2 in, 92%

So her weight is on the smaller side, but with how short she is she still looks chunky!  It's fun to look back at where Avery was at this point.  At 6 months Avery was 16 lbs 11 oz in the 70% and 26 3/4 in in the 90% and her head was 16 3/4 in in the 60 %.  I never did a 6 month post for Avery, but HERE is a post from right before she turned 6 months old.  

Mary is a very sweet baby she has a lot of personality.  She is impatient, but loving.  She loves to smile at everyone.  She is an quiet observer.  She is always watching and taking things in.  She loves to watch her big sister play and Avery loves her little sister.  I'm loving watching their relationship take form.  

Can't you just tell they love each other??

Mary has been getting up on her knees for probably a month now, but she hasn't started crawling yet.  She has mastered the army crawl though.  And she is fast!

And she gets stuck quite often because of her rolling, army crawling, scooting, and sliding.

She's doing okay at sitting, but doesn't keep her balance for very long.  She can almost get into sitting position when she's on her stomach.  

Look at her!  Incredible!

Mary's gotten really good at eating and really loves to eat!  It's a nice change because Avery hates to eat most of the time!  We bought Mary these Baby Mum Mum's and she loves them and does so well eating them all by herself!  Even though it is messy!

She is finally starting to nap better which is wonderful, she has been such a horrible sleeper during the day up until a few months ago when it started getting better slowly.  

We love our Mary girl  and are so glad that she came to our family.  She has been such a wonderful blessing.
