Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

For Mary's birthday she said she wanted cake and she wanted to play baseball.  Sounded good to me!  On Mary's birthday this year I was feeling so awful, I was weak and sore all over and my throat felt so swollen.  Thankfully, my sweet sister-in-law Alisha graciously offered to make Mary's cake!  I was so grateful to have that taken care of for me and that Mary got her red cake.
The night of her birthday we all gathered together at a close by church to have a ball park dinner and play baseball and kickball.  For dinner we had hot dogs with "checkup" (ketchup), peanuts, and popcorn!  I was going to get cracker jacks, but couldn't find any big bags so I just went with popcorn.
The party was fun, we didn't play too much baseball or kickball.  My brother John did go over with the kids and play with them and Jake played baseball with them too, but mostly the kids just ran around having a lot of fun together.
