One of the benefits of having a husband that went on a mission is that he learned how to make some pretty yummy food! A few weeks ago we made some tamales from a recipe he got from his mission. It was really fun having him show me how to do everything and have him tell me stories of when he made them on his mission. The tamales turned out pretty good, but to be honest, not as good as the ones that this hispanic guy sells out of his van in our neighborhood! We took a few pictures as we were making them so I just want to put them up here for everyone. For some reason we didn't think to take a picture when they were finished. . .so you just get to see the preparation part!

It was a really fun night and great seeing Louis remembering his mission and the good times he had in Guatemala. Have any of you who have returned missionaries or are returned missionaries had any fun nights like this making food or something?

That sounds like so much fun! What a good way to bond with your husband! Raulon didn't go anywhere foreign on his mission so he didn't learn any crazy-cool recipes, but he did learn how to cook some pretty good breakfasts with his companions so sometimes he makes me breakfast. I hope you guys are doing well! You look happy :) I look for you every time I'm in Walmart, you are still at that bank aren't you?
P.S. Your aprons you and Megan are wearing in your last blog are super cute!
