Lucky Mary got to go with two of her Aunts to the rodeo a few weeks ago! Mary is in love with horses and I knew she would have the time of her life! I was not wrong. She came home so happy and still talks about going to the rodeo. Funnily enough she said that her favorite part was the motorcycles that came out to do tricks after the rodeo! She can't wait to go again!

Grandma Steele and Wyatt
Grandma Steele and Wyatt have a special relationship. I don't know if maybe they knew each other pretty well before this life or if it's because Wyatt is named after Grandma's late husband Jack or maybe he just loves rocking in her rocking chair with her. Either way, their little relationship is cute. Grandma will sit with Wyatt, rock him, sing to him, feed him his bottle, and sometimes refuses to let you take him away! Grandma Steele's arms are the only arms that Wyatt will fall asleep in!
I hope their relationship continues to be a good one.

Kindergarten: Mission Completed
The end of May brought lots of fun things for Avery! She got to go on her very first field trip and ride on a school bus for the first time. She had her first field day at school. She also got to participate in her kindergarten graduation. She is growing up so fast and is such a beautiful, sweet, helpful, happy girl.
For the kindergarten field trip they got to go down to Ogden to go to the Tree house Museum. I volunteered to be a chaperone so I got to tag along with Avery. When we got to school she was so excited to find out that her friend was in her group for the day. She was also going to come over after the field trip for a play date so they got to spend the whole day together.

The girls had fun running around and exploring, their favorite thing was dressing up.
I don't know if you can tell from the picture below, but it was a super windy day!
Avery had fun with her kindergarten graduation. She got to dress up in her favorite dress, sing us songs and
recite poems from the school year. It was the most enjoyable graduation I've ever been to.
Then just like that it was Avery's last day of kindergarten. She had a great school year and learned so much.
Avery is really excited to be going into the first grade! I can't wait to see what this next school year brings her!
Idaho Day Trip
Sometimes I forget just how close we are to the Idaho border! One weekend in May we decided to go find a park in Idaho, have a picnic, and play for the afternoon! We found a pretty fun one just a few minutes into Idaho.
We got some Little Caesars pizza for our picnic, then played!
Taco-bout a Fiesta!
I've probably blogged about these before, but every six months or so Louis' siblings and their families get together for a sibling supper. We all take turns planning them and really it's just a fun excuse to get together and party. This last sibling party was hosted by Megan and Phill. They did a taco party! In true Megan fashion, the party was awesome. The decorations were fun. The food was great. And everybody had a good time!
Sadly Ethan wouldn't keep on his outfit. He looked so awesome!
Yes, Louis won best outfit!
