5 Year Old Ethan
Our little Ethan is getting big! He is five! He loves legos and is really good at putting his little sets together all by himself. He can literally spend hours doing them. He loves The Lion Guard. His favorite color is green for about 2 years running now. His favorite thing to eat, that he could eat for lunch every day if I'd let him, is macaroni and cheese. He's just fun, he makes us happy and we love having him in our family. We spent his birthday doing whatever he wanted, Nerf gun wars, watching The Lion Guard, pizza for dinner, and birthday cupcakes!
Christmas
Christmas 2019 was an interesting one because we were in the middle of everyone getting sick! Somehow Louis and I missed it, but all of the kids took turns being sick. On Christmas Avery and Ethan were getting over the sickness, but Mary was right at the beginning of it and was just miserable. She didn't even want to sit up to open her presents, she just wanted to lay there. So sad! We still had an enjoyable day together, I love spending these special holidays together as a family.
Avery Turns 9!
Avery is 9! Here are some fun facts about Avery
-Avery is full of personality, and she always has been.
-Her friends are very important to her. She is very loyal to them and tries to be thoughtful of them always. (really she's thoughtful to everyone, but especially her friends) I'm grateful she's been blessed with good friends.
-Avery loves playing games and is good at coming up with ideas for new games.
-Avery has started playing the tin whistle at school and purchased her own whistle from the school. That's been fun to have in the home.
-She loves math! Especially multiplication. She takes after her father on that.
-Avery is a fantastic big sister. She helps her little brothers without being asked and she gets Ethan breakfast almost every morning.
We're very blessed to have Avery in our home!
For her birthday she got to have her two best friends, Niki and Jade, over to decorate cupcakes and play. It was simple and s he had so much fun! Avery, Mary, and I also went to see Frozen 2 in theaters which was a surprise for her! She is always so excited about everything so it is so fun to celebrate her and see her excitement!
